AIMS:

• Our aim is to come up with an experimental sonic piece focusing on the original soundscape of Lincoln. The main focus is to capture the sounds we hear everyday but ignore due to familiarity to create an abstract sound piece.
• Our reasoning for this is that we feel our idea is something people will be interested in listening to, because it is different but also familiar to what our potential audience hears in everyday life.

OBJECTIVES:

• To research experimental sounds art.
• To listen to our environment and apply it to our final piece.
• To give our audience a different understanding of sound.
• To inspire other practitioners of sound
• To be able to construct an abstract piece using real life recordings.
